DJSteen on RNB [90.3/88.7FM]

If you haven't been listening to my radio show or can't pick it up in your area, well it's been going heaps good! Hehe.. I received my first request last week and I have a website for my currently nameless program. You can check it out here, here, here, here, here, and here.

From that website you can find out all types of things about the show including ways you can request songs/shout-outs and the playlists of songs I play each week and even ways to become a guest on my show.

If you just want to listen all you have to do is live on the Sydney Northern Beaches (Frenchs Forest, Belrose sadly can't receive it) and have an FM tuner and tune it to 90.3FM or 88.7FM. You can hear me going live and crazily on Fridays from 2:30pm - 3:30pm.

All sorts of other info is on my radio site so just go there and check it out baby! Peace out!

More Holiday fun!

17 Days into Janurary Twenty-O-Five and it's been pretty damn fun so far!

On the 7th.. I finally got to use the letter that I won from Nova entitling me to a dinner to the value of $200 at the Dome Resturant at the Art Hotel on Pitt Street in the City. I took Sarah along. The menu was STRICTLY what was on the single page. Let me say I got two chocolate tarts (cake) for myself for dessert because they were so good and we/I didn't worry about them costing $13/each. Ahh we experienced luxury!!.. and the bathrooms.. wow, very flashy!

Onwards, we continued to Bass Hill to see Anchorman for the millionth time at the Drive-in. I looked it up on the map because it was relitively unfamiliar territory. I took the Great Western Highway which took soooo long to get there. We turned up about 20mins late, but the movie hadn't started yet and the guy said he'd let us in just this time. Lucky. Afterwards I went home the quicker way.. The Hume Highway.

The 15th.. Just the other day I went into the Manly clubs for the first time since being 18. Chris Lamb was planning to take me there on a quiet night like a Tues or Wed, but he said everyone was going out on that Saturday (the 15th) and I didn't mind, so I went.

We went to the Forestville RSL first and Lamb, Matt F, Craig P began to drink; I don't drink, Anita was Designated Driver. Then Anita drove us down to Manly where we meet Nathan and Sheridan (Sheridan drove). We went into 'The Steyne' which I once thought was like a certain stretch of clubs in Manly, but it was an actual club/bar. And quite a masssive one at that. It wasn't as roudy as I expected it to be on a Saturday night. I kinda expected it to be like NYE, but it was nowhere near that, which was good. I was in the club from about 11pm-12:20am and then Lamby asked if anyone wanted to go get a pizza from the shop on the corso; I went with him. By then there was a big line to get up to the bar upstairs so we had no chance getting back in then. We just chilled outside and decorated Shezz's motorcycle dented car. Not his fault, which is good.

When our friends came out of the club at about 1:30am-ish we decided to head towards home. I went with Shezz, along with Chris and Nathan. We dropped Lamb home and then decided to do something else. We went and washed Sheridan's car at a service station with the window washer squeegee things. That was funny. Then we drove around alot more and then we decided to go to a 24hr Mickey D's. We got there at about 3:15am and had to wait 15mins for the breakfast menu to become avaliable. I got some hotcakes and #brown. The Hotcakes suck compared to POTR's pancakes. We headed towards home again and drove around there for a while but then we decided we were super-nuts and wanted to watch the sunrise so we drove to the lookout at Beacon Hill and waited about an hour for it to rise. We then drove home at 6:15am and I slept until 2:30pm. Whoa.. crazy Manly night.. I don't think I'll do that for a looonnng while, well at least not club AND sunrise. I still feel tired.
